Pictures from Christmas!

We went to my mom and dads house last weekend for Christmas. This year was their off year so we had to do it the weekend before. Here is a few pictures from that weekend that my sister took of my pregnancy!

36 Weeks!

Well I had a wonderful lunch with a great friend today! Actually, my old college roommate! It has been way too long since I have seen her! We ate at Bj's which is always delicious, I highly recommend the avocado egg rolls!

My Dr. called me this morning and asked if I could come in early today so my 2:30 appt. moved up to 1:30. Adam had to rush from work to get there on time but it was well worth it. I am 1cm dilated! She said there is no way I will make it to 40 weeks, which is exciting! That means sometime in the next 3 weeks she will be here!

Adam has caught a cold from me so he is home in bed for the rest of the day! I am about to get up and get to cleaning my house! This exciting news today has put me in a cleaning mood! I figure I should probably go to the grocery store and stock up on somethings since I know once MC gets here I won't be running too many errands! Pictures of me at 36 weeks coming soon!

Happy Sunday!

Well I finally felt like getting out of the house today. I got up this morning and let Adam sleep in. I made cinnamon rolls and pigs in a blanket. We both got dressed and decided to run some errands. I needed to get some last minute things from Babies R Us before Maddie Claire arrives. 185 dollars later we were finished! That was with a 20% coupon and 15% coupon. I know this will not be my last high dollar bill at this store.

We then decided to go to Old Town Spring to get a white elephant present for my families party next Saturday. We ate lunch, which I could not taste but had I been able to, I think it would have been Quite Tasty! Old Town Spring is really a nice place to go on Sunday's and just walk around. We live about 4 miles away and never seem to go. I think we will go more often, it was such a nice day!

When we got home from this fun filled day I decided to get in MC's room and do a little work. We had washed all of her clothes but there were still some that needed hanging and sorting. I got in there and organized everything. My mom says I am getting that "Nesting" instinct... maybe so I just know that I want everything completely finished by the time she gets here.

Last but certainly not least Adam and I snuggled up on the couch to watch Father of the Bride today! My favorite movie EVER!!! Now we have the football game on and Chili on the stove! Oh did I mention That when I was cleaning MC's room Adam cleaned, vacuumed, mopped and dusted the ENTIRE house by himself! I officially have the BEST HUSBAND!!!!

Tis the Season!

Some days are good and others are very tiring! I know as long as I am pregnant this sweet little girl is taking from me what she needs to grow. I am so happy to be giving these things to her but I am being left with almost nothing for myself. I am so tired and have been feeling very cold/flu symptoms since Wednesday. I am pumping myself with fresh fruit, OJ and anything else healthy I can get my hands on. Maddie Claire seems to love this! She is moving more and seems to be very content!

Our Christmas shopping adventure is supposed to start tomorrow. My husband is a go getter! He likes to go and get everything for everyone in one day. This is usually fine but now that I am hitting the 9th month of pregnancy I am not so sure. He came home last night with an itinerary... Yes, really! He has times and even has put in time for lunch and an afternoon snack! He really does know what will keep me going....Food Stops! I will try to be a go getter with him but we will see how long I last! I will let you know how this goes tomorrow!

Ready for the weekend!

I am not sure if it is because I am pregnant or just because it is so close to Christmas break but I am exhausted!! I was well rested this morning but once it hit noon my body just stopped wanting to function! I could have taken a nap in the middle of my classroom full of 18 hyper children.

An update from my Dr. is that as of right now, no bed rest! This is a wonderful thing since my district does not pay you for being out for maternity leave. I need to save up all the days I can for when the baby arrives.

Adam and I are washing the last bit of Maddie Claire's clothes and we have separated them into sizes. Although I am tired I know that my time is short and I still have some things to do before she gets here. I am so thankful for Adam! He has done so much throughout our marriage and has done so much more throughout this pregnancy! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband!

A learning experience

Everyday God shows me the kind of Wife and mother he wants me to be. Patience is something I have to work on everyday! He sends children my way that I have to show love and patience to constantly! I love my job but at times it is hard. God is definitely teaching me what to teach my child young and what not to. I pray everyday that the Lord helps me raise this beautiful child in the way He wants her to be raised!

34 weeks!

Well, Friday started an adventure I was sure we were not going to have to experience for a few more weeks. I started having pretty severe Braxton Hicks contractions at school. They were coming every 8-10 minutes, which in your 33rd week is not a good thing. I called my Dr. and she sent me home to lay down and told me if I had more then four the next hour to go to the hospital. That next hour I had 5 so I called my husband and he met me at the hospital since it is on his way home from work and I could drive.

The nurses hooked me up the monitors and I turned out to be having contractions like I thought. I however was not dilated which is why they did not put me on bed rest! Praise God! I am not sure if I could stay on bed rest since I am naturally a person who is constantly needing to do something. The Dr. told me to go home, get plenty of rest this weekend and drink A LOT of water!!! After the hospital visit my amazing husband took me to PF Changs and we went home and watched a movie! On Saturday I was able to go to lunch with a dear friend who was leaving to go back home to Germany and even was able to fit in a 2 hour nap! It has been a fun and relaxing weekend, considering how it started out!

I go to the Dr. tomorrow so I will update you on what she says!

33 weeks!

I have made the decision that I need to be a better blogger since so many of you have been wanting to see updated pregnancy pictures and nursery pictures. I know it will not change Maddie Claire arrives in January.
Adam and I have been busy getting the nursery together and finalizing everything we need for Maddie Claire to arrive. It is almost here and the time has really gone by fast. I have a feeling that these next few weeks will be very slow because we are both wanting her to get here! Here are some pictures from the nursery!

16 Weeks

I have not written on here since Christmas and I am going to try to do this a lot more. Well a lot has happened since then. I have an amazing job as a second grade teacher and I absolutly love it! We found out that we are having a baby! I am 16 weeks and we are supposed to find out if it is a boy or a girl on Monday, August 2. Pics to follow soon!
